Hey Arnold: I Don't Have Time For You Today

"I tell you there's more nutrients in beer than in milk."
     - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Oh Arnold, your film career may be at a crossroads but Damme if you're still not the King of Kings. This week saw The Oak hanging out at Gold's Gym, once to train political journalist Loise Mensch before talking John Kasich and his Institute of Public Policy at USC. At nearly 69, Arnold looks in great shape with big, defined arms and broad chest. Later in the week Arnold did a 30 minute Facebook Live from the mecca of bodybuilding as he works chest and back on behalf of represent.com where a "Come With Me If You Want To Lift" shirt will be available to benefit After School All-Stars. The video is hilarious with appearances from Frank Stallone, a little person, some rocker from the 70's and supersets of presses, pulldowns and rows. Arnold shouts out lines from Conan and Predator, then gives people in the gym shit as he walks by, exclaiming "I don't have time for you today!" and "that's bullshit!" randomly. The Governator explains that he typically does 30 sets a session in 30-45 minutes and a perfect way to start the day is to ride his bike to the gym, get in a workout then enjoy a nice breakfast. Speaking of Gold's, last weekend Arnold trained his son with the nanny in Venice that morning then headed to Coachella to hang with his kids with Maria Shriver, talk about dad of the week effort.

On the movie front, Terminator Genisys Sarah Connor Emilia Clarke is on the promotional circuit and claimed she will not be partaking in any future chapters as if it were her choice and was now above it. While TG made $440 million worldwide, it disappointed in America and nearly put me to sleep. I went in thinking Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese would be the weak link but Clarke was the one woefully miscast as she has none of the spunk, drive, gravitas or physicality that Linda Hamilton displayed in her two takes. Like her Game of Thrones co-stars, she shall not have a movie career. Arnold's Predator co-star and The Last Action Hero co-writer Shane Black is looking to direct The Predator, a large scale, event sized take on the alien hunter series and Schwarzenegger is looking to discuss the project with Black in the near future. Lastly, during a Ask Me/Us Anything session to promote their action comedy Keanu, Key and Peele were asked about Arnold to which they responded "Oh you talking about Schwartsie? You talking about Arnold Schwarztenburgers? Arnold Schwartzenburgers is my shit. He's my shiznits." Indeed.

Hey Arnold: New and Old

Never far from headlines, The King of Kings, our Lord of Lords, Arnold Schwarzenegger is ringing in 2016 with plenty of news. Announced at November's American Film Market, The Oak headlines revenge thriller 478, which has been shooting in Columbus, Ohio. Schwarz has long been tied to Columbus, owning property and building the Arnold Classic into a giant sports expo that sees over 100,000 attendees, exhibitors and athletes descend on the city in every March. A statue of the former Mr. Olympia stands near the convention center. 478 is based on the true story of a Russian architect whose family dies when two planes collide in Germany but the air traffic controller is cleared of responsibility and retires. 478 days later, the architect showed up at the controller's door step and stabbed him to death. Produced by Darren Aronofsky among others, Elliot Lester directs from a script by Javier Gullon. Argo's Scoot McNairy and Taken's Maggie Grace co-star in the $10 million flick that looks to be a dark character piece the way zombie daughter flick Maggie was versus a big action flick a la recent The Last Stand and Sabotage.

Next up, Arnold is replacing Donald Trump as host of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice; bringing decades of business experience and success to the show which I'll be sure to tune in for. The likes of Warren Buffett, Tyra Banks and Jessica Alba will be acting as mentors throughout for a cast that includes Vince Neil, Boy George, Jon Lovitz, Chael Sonnen and Ricky Williams. The winner takes home $250,000 bucks for the charity of their choice. Los Angeles takes over for New York City and the show is rumored to shoot in the Silicon Beach area, which includes Playa Vista. That's where Howard Hughes had several hangars that became sound stages then office space and site of filming for 1999's End of Days. It's also where I live so here's hoping we see some Arnold governed competition!

While doing press for the show, Arnold let it be known that the long gestating Robert E. Howard barbarian sequel will now be titled Conan the Conqueror. The script is finished and a director is being sought. Fredrik Malmberg and Chris Morgan are producing. I hope they consider Paul Verhoeven, violent and visceral director of Flesh + Blood, Robocop, Total Recall and almost Crusade, a bloody medieval epic that was to star Arnold in the 90's for Carolco before being dropped due to budgetary concerns. Arnold has been hyping the film for some time but I do wonder if it will really happen. Sadly, The Oak's drawing power is nowhere near what it once was with leading man efforts tanking at the box office. His popular social media presence is a big change from the 80's where you'd only see stars on talk shows, not any time, all the time online. $150 million budgeted Terminator: Genisys grossed $440 million worldwide but couldn't break $100 mil in the states leading Paramount to remove the sequel from their calendar. If Conan does happen, I'm guessing it will be for an economical $50 million or so and make most of it's bank overseas where Arnold still draws a crowd. Then there's the proposed Twins sequel, Triplets, that would reunite Arnold with Danny DeVito and introduce Eddie Murphy as their long lost brother. A script and revision has been completed but it's been pretty quiet. Until then, keep pumping and crushing your enemies!

Holiday Happiness: Hey Arnold

This past Wednesday was a near perfect day. I started off by getting in a 5:30 AM workout followed by polishing off the magnificent tome of an autobiography, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story. This was a personal record as I conquered the 624 pages of informative, inspiring, educational and hilarious anecdotes, onset accords and more in just two weeks. The book covers Arnold's entire life from growing up in war affected Austria, his strict but loving parents, getting into bodybuilding, moving to America, amassing personal wealth through construction and real estate to getting into movies, working with President's, meeting future wife Maria Shriver and her political family, running for governor, going public about his secret love child and coming back to the movies. As a lifelong fan I learned quite a bit, things like his Mr. America defeat to Frank Zane in 1968 would forever haunt him as an example of being overconfident and under prepared. Or that after making so much money in real estate, his next investment was a $140 million 747 that is leased out to airlines. Or how he still wasn't sure if he'd run for Governor of California until he went on Jay Leno the night he announced he would. Some of his life philosophies are shared through like staying hungry, being useful, setting goals and accomplishing them through research, education and reps, rep, reps.

Of course later on Wednesday I met an even bigger personal hero, one Jean-Claude Van Damme! It was nearly surreal chatting and joking with The Muscles From Brussels and even more life affirming when he said I was in shape and told me to take my sweater off so we could flex in our tee shirts for photos. Again, seeing Bruce Lee and Van Damme as a kid got me into martial arts and fitness, positive thinking and trying to be the best version of myself I can be. I will be forever grateful. If that weren't enough awesomeness for one day, I met up with some buddies for a Korean BBQ dinner, one of the great meals, if you eat meat. While my former spot has changed names, decor and slowed in service, it was still a terrific time conversing and joking while grilling up lots and lots of meat.

While some people Jingle some of the way, I was going to Jingle ALL the way. Yes, the day was capped off with a 35 mm screening of Arnold's holiday classic at The New Beverly Cinema, where he searches for the season's hottest toy Turboman and goes up against snooty employees, conman Santa Claus', an old school cop, skeezy Phil Hartman and an unstable mail man played by Sinbad. I remember seeing the film back in 1996, owning the VHS and then the Director's Cut on DVD. Experiencing it on the big screen, as usual, makes you see it in a different light. I'd forgotten how go go go the film is as once Arnold starts looking for the doll, it's more or less non-stop for 90 zany minutes. Future Anakin Skywalker Jake Lloyd shows off some acting chops here, especially for a kid while Hartman's eligible bachelor neighbor is surprisingly creepy for a family film. Kind of sad was the fact that in the film, characters trample, mace, fight and connive one another to get what they want but if you've seen any videos from Wal-Mart on Black Friday, you know that is now the world we live in. Brian Levant directs from a Randy Kornfield script and employs a terrific supporting cast of familiar faces like Sinbad, Hartman, Rita Wilson, The Wild Wild West's Robert Conrad, Richard Moll from Night Court, young Lloyd, James Belushi, Chris Parnell and Revenge of the Nerds' Curtis Armstrong. There was a solid turnout for the flick and the crowd was very enthusiastic, laughing, cheering and cringing at some of the cartoonish physical stunts.

At home I've been watching End of Days after learning that the tale of Y2K and the devil taking over the world came to The Oak after a dry spell following open heart surgery to fix a genetically defective valve. Apparently Hollywood had gotten so used to Arnold being a self made superman who took care of the job on and off screen, they couldn't believe he was human and needed surgery. The phone stopped ringing and execs wondered if he could handle the rigors of action filmmaking or secure insurance for shoots. Like 1996's Jingle, End of Days was released over Thanksgiving weekend of 1999 and grossed a similar $66 million in the states on it's way to $211 million globally. The Peter Hyams directed film is very 90's and not a fantastic title in Arnold's filmography but he plays a gruff yet likable character and there's some pretty big action going on along with plenty of memorable Arnold screams and grunts along with a few funny lines. Of course Jericho Cane's introduction scene is one of Arnold's best, where he's hungover and contemplating suicide before making a breakfast shake that includes beer, Pepto Bismo, Chinese food, coffee and a slice of pizza off the floor. Twas truly a great day, should have bought a lottery ticket...

You're(not) Terminated! Oak and Biehn Round Up

Terminator: Genisys opens in a couple of weeks and the promotion machine is in full swing. Trailers, TV spots and billboards are all over the place while master promoter Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in the public eye. A great video showing him in T-800 costume walking around Hollywood and posing as a wax statue at Maddam Tussaud's is hilarious and shows you just how social media savvy the guy is. Then there's the awesome tie-in with Wendy's with their Baconator, Spicenator and Chickenator sammiches that I'll be sure to partake in. "Don't bump my selfie stick."

With 1984's The Terminator just being re-released, the original Kyle Reese himself Michael Biehn talked to Total Film about the low budget flick that became a classic, how James Cameron's movie has jumped generations and his thoughts on co-star Linda Hamilton.

Hey Arnold: June Boom

No June Gloom for Arnold as the King of Kings, Lord of Lords is still a historical and media force to be reckoned with. Breakthrough sci-fi action thriller Total Recall celebrated it's 25th anniversary this past Monday, reminding us that Paul Verhoeven is a mad cinematic genius and that the Colin Farrell remake was laaaaame! The Oak hit Rio for the Arnold Classic Brazil where over 25 competitions in martial arts, power lifting, bodybuilding, chess and pole dancing(?!) took place. Terminator: Genisys promotion is in full swing with billboards around town and TV spots aplenty. Original creator James Cameron lent his support to the new endeavor and told Arnold he loved the flick. The original B-movie, Tech-Noir masterpiece will be playing nationwide as part of Cinemark's Fathom Events starting on June 14th. If that's not enough Arnold for you, and it better frigging not be, you can catch classics Predator and Kindergarten Cop (and tons of other summer classics) via The Arclight Cinemas and of course, as his first iconic role in Conan the Barbarian and Destroyer with me and special guests at The Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, June 27th.

Hey Arnold: House of Mouse

"This is Mickey Mouse stuff. You train. Or you don't...
If you do something then do it. Go all out."
- Arnold Schwarzenegger on texting at the gym

Arnold Schwarzenegger. The King of Kings, our Lord of Lords. It's been a visible month for The Oak as the first weekend heralded the return of the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Starting in 1989 with a focus on bodybuilding, the event has turned into a long weekend extravaganza of competition, athletes, exhibitors, vendors and more. Nearly 200,000 attendees travel from around the world to attend the mecca of fitness with fencing, gymnastics, cheer leading, bodybuilding, martial arts, archery, power lifting, table tennis and WWE all part of the mix. An Australian version popped up this year as well. In attendance Arnold cheered on a new world record in dead lifting and sat down with goers for an intimate chat.

On the movie front, rumors of a new Conan film shooting in the fall have been rampant as Terminator: Genisys ramps up for a July release. Arnold graced the cover of Empire Magazine recently and promotion will kick into high gear soon. Just today, the delayed and somewhat mysterious zombie project, Maggie, saw it's first trailer hit the internet. In what looks like a dramatic take on the genre, Arnold stars as the father of a young girl turning into a zombie (Abigail Breslin). It looks surprisingly low key and dramatic with response being very positive and surprised at Arnold's emotional depth. This is the guy who convincingly played a naive virgin in Twins so I've always known he had talent. Hitting theaters in a quick to be here May 8th, it will be interesting to see how Maggie performs in the wake of recent enjoyable flicks but box office misfires The Last Stand and Sabotage. On the small screen, Arnuld popped up on the finale of Two and a Half Men playing a cop in a funny performance that was the best part of that non-Charlie Sheen appearing but totally dependent on Charlie Sheen piece of sh!t. The Oak also made an appearance on the new Late Late Show, whipping host James Corden into shape at the gym.

On the society front Arnold continues his crusade to fund after school programs as they promote improved attendance, graduation rates, health and wellness. Data shows that juvenile crime reaches it's peak between 3:00 and 6:00 PM, the most likely time kids are unsupervised. If affecting the lives of millions wasn't enough, Arnold also took the time to brighten the day of one demoralized gym goer. After falling in the gym to the laughs of onlookers, the young man took to Reddit where Arnold chimes in frequently. Upon hearing about this one case, Arnold again showed how awesome he is by telling the kid not to be afraid of failure. He fell down, big deal. Everyone has to start somewhere but all he has to do is get back up and take another step and keep moving forward. That's why Arnold is the greatest. How do you climb a mountain? By going up!

Hey Arnold: Body Fat Guys & Sabotage Blu-Ray

*HARSH YET HILARIOUS LANGUAGE AHEAD*

"Don't fucking scream at me!  You dumb fuck, you.  Look at you, with your fucking 48% body fat!  And you, scrawny little bastard.  Fuck you guys!"
     - Arnold Schwarzenegger as John "Breacher" Wharton in Sabotage

Oh man Sabotage hits digital download this week and disk on the 22nd of July.  Dammaged Goods brought in July 4th in true Dammaged Goods style and sat down to view the flick on home video after seeing it twice in theaters on two consecutive nights with different factions of friends.  While the story was a bit confusing upon the first viewing, I think I got it the 2nd time around and definitely the 3rd, maybe...Basically Arnold is a drug war god for the DEA who has found and brought down the man(s) who couldn't be found or brought down.  When his team starts to get killed off after skimming $10 million from a cartel bust, Breacher and local Atlanta detective Caroline investigate who is coming after his guys and gal.  Bro-down, talking all raw, gunfights, betrayals, head shots, Chevy cars and trucks, Oakley visors, McClure's Whiskey and vehicular mayhem on the streets of Atlanta ensues.  The flick looks great on the small screen with the high definition, hand held style very smooth if not epically cinematic as we're more or less a fly on the wall following these characters.  The gunshots are super loud and it's a fun yet brutal flick that has a solid performance from Arnold in a role that uses his baggage as an actor and icon to push him in a more serious direction versus the simple, crowd pleasing, muscle flexing, machine gun toting, one liner tossing caricature we knew and loved from the 80's.  Headlining a terrific cast that includes Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Olivia Williams, Terrence Howard, Josh Holloway, Max Martini, Mirelle Enos and Harold Perrineau, Arnold continues to show us his business and career intelligence by aligning himself with talented cast and crew.

Ably directed by Harsh Times, Training Day and End of Watch's David Ayer, Sabotage packs the same gritty yet bro-funny feeling of the above titles and paints a slice of life insight into the dark dealings and thin line our protectors and criminals tread.  Co-written by blunt action guy Skip Woods of Wolverine: Origins, A Good Day to Die Hard and The A-Team fame, Sabotage seems like a simple story but feels a little too complicated for it's own good as I still couldn't tell you EXACTLY who kills who or is responsible for what.  In the end it's a very enjoyable flick with a nice mix of action, thrills, laughs and mystery.  I'm sure Sabotage will find it's audience on home video after being sadly left high and dry at the box office.  Like the under performing Harsh Times, people are just missing out.

The Blu-Ray comes with some decent special features like deleted scenes, 2 alternate endings and a short making of.  *SPOILERS*  Deleted scenes give us a subplot of Atlanta PD working a missing child case that Breacher helps crack, the aftermath of Caroline and Breacher's one night stand complete with Arnold side butt shot, quick glimpses of Sugar (Terrence Howard) and Lizzie (Mirelle Enos) partaking in some debauchery, etc.  None of the scenes are overly interesting and if included, would have made the film even darker and made you feel grimier.  Alternate endings really turn Arnold evil with a surprisingly brutal fight scene between Breacher and Caroline then Breacher shooting it out with local cops to escape.  *END SPOILERS*  The under 10-minute making of is packed with info as we learn Arnold wanted to work with Ayer after seeing End of Watch 4 times.  Ayer wanted to make Arnold a complex character and step away from the heroic roles audiences knew him for and do something different.  The Oak liked the fact that it was an ensemble piece and not just an action picture.  Given Ayer's military background, all on screen tactics and maneuvers were by the book with the actors participating in two months of training that taught them law enforcement basics as well as bonding them.  I think the flick could have used a commentary from Woods, Ayer and some of the cast but ah well.  I'm definitely happy to have the flick as is.

Hey Arnold: Routine

"I do the same exercises I did 50 years ago and they still work.
I eat the same food I ate 50 years ago and it still works."
-  Arnold Schwarzenegger

It was already on my action item list to do a Hey Arnold post today but then the new Expendables III trailer hit so it just seemed like fate.  As I try to dial it in for Dolph night, I'm doing my best to eat clean and train consistently.  To me, that consistency is key.  I run into so many people who want to lose weight and work out but never stick to it for more than a few weeks.  Like I've said before, when it comes to weights, you either have it or you don't.  Nobody puts themselves through aches pains and super swole spasms for fun.  For Arnold, he took quite a few pot shots during his Governorship as less than flattering images of his formerly muscular body hit the internets.  When he got back into movies and had more time, The Oak reverted back on his old school regimen of cardio in the morning and weights at night to prepare for his return to the big screen.  With years of heavy squats leaving his knees in disrepair, Arnie is said to be a big fan of the bike in a gym or on the beach, performing intervals to get his heart pumping.  Weight wise the former 7-time Mr. Olympia is still performing super sets on machines and free weights at a quick pace.  Always one for mixing things up, Arnold still considers free weights the best way to build muscle and in my experience, rings true.  Ever seen someone get yoked by doing cable curls?  Nah.

Cut to today and Arnie is looking solid and swole at 66 as evidenced in recent photos prepping and from the set of Terminator: Genesis.

Hey Arnold: Sequelitis

"I won't be doing sequels to Total Recall, Commando, Predator or Twins.  I was contacted about doing a sequel to Commando, but I had no interest; it was the same with Predator.  A Twins sequel was never a thought in anybody's mind, and neither was a sequel to Red Heat...it was been the same routine with just about every movie I've ever done...there's so little time to do all the things I want to do that I can't see any reason to get bogged down in sequels."
- Arnold Schwarzenegger, 1991

23 years later and Arnold has kept his word although a sequel to Twins is in the works that would add Eddie Murphy to the long lost, genetically altered siblings hilarity for the proposed Triplets.  While Arnie might not have been hot to revisit the roles of Hauser, John Matrix, Dutch Schaeffer or Ivan Danko, he doesn't have any current problems revisiting certain iconic and lucrative franchises.  Terminator 5 is currently in production, a sequel to Conan is in the works and he's about to pop up for his 3rd mission with The Expendables.  Once upon a time, a sequel to 1994's "boring husband who's actually a spy" thriller True Lies was in the works but at a certain point, middle eastern terrorists were no longer funny and the project was abandoned.  But try telling that to co-star Tom Arnold who is still holding out hope.  In the mid 90's, young Robert Rodriguez wrote a Predator sequel that would have followed Arnold on the alien hunters' home planet while recruiting fellow cinematic tough guy Jean-Claude Van Damme but the expensive script languished.  Years later, the concept was dusted off and rewritten to make Predators and included a cameo for The Oak which didn't happen.  Fox and WWE Studios have teamed up for an Arnold-less sequel to 1996's "dads fighting crowds, each other, racism and capitalism at Christmas" comedy Jingle All the Way which is due out in 2015.

30 some years later and people still want to pay you to do it again:

Hey Arnold: No Easy Way Out

"There are no shortcuts - everything is reps, reps, reps."
- Arnold Schwarzenegger

Or like that one song in Rocky IV, "there's no easy way out, there's no shortcuts home!".  It's been a long but very rewarding and Damme fun week after the Van Damme Triple Dip.  It took me a while to get off my duff and DO something beyond talking about events like these and once it was all over, I actually felt it was kind of easy to do.  On the list of "men who have influenced me" list, Van Damme ranks number 2 while Arnold is a close 3rd.  His can do attitude, mind for business, never settle and no "low forehead" tolerance is an inspiration to us all.  What I've learned in recent months is that you just have to go for it.  All people can say is "no".  They're not going to physically harm or publicly humiliate you or anything, know what I mean?  And if you come up short, who cares, you'll probably learn something or meet someone interesting on the way and that counts too.  Because when you believe in yourself and know who you are, the sky is the limit, right?  There can be no resolution without conflict, no knowledge without experience and no muscles without reps.

Now get out there and do your thing!

Hey Arnold: Winning Team

"I knew I was a winner back in the late sixties.  I knew I was destined for great things.  People will say that kind of thinking is totally immodest.  I agree.  Modesty is not a word that applies to me in any way.  I hope it never will."
- Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold's "can do" attitude and never say "can't" vocabulary has taken him to the heights of fame, fortune and notoriety.  While he's one of history's biggest movie stars and most familiar faces on the globe, his post Governor headlining movie roles have yet to yield a hit.  Latest offering Sabotage has limped it's way to a $10 million dollar gross which then caused financier QED International to layoff some of it's staff.  Sadly, Sabotage's disappointing performance shows that the world just isn't in a rush to see Arnold in a movie theater.  His career will receive a nice boost with this summer's sure to be worldwide hit The Expendables III while a Terminator reboot/sequel is in the works and is more or less a guaranteed healthy investment.  On the leading man front, the failure of Sabotage doesn't bode well for a return to Conan or the oft mentioned Triplets, the sequel to 1988's hit comedy Twins that featured Arnold and Danny DeVito.  For part II, Arnold has met with 80's funny man Eddie Murphy to become their long lost brother.  Your guess is as good as mine on how they'll explain that.  But hey, Twins is hilarious and Eddie Murphy still has it so I'm in.

Respect:

Hey Arnold: Dolla Dolla Bills

"Money doesn't make you happy.  I now have $50 million but
I was just as happy when I had $48 million."

Hey Arnold: Up and At Them

"For me life is continuously being hungry.
The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive,
but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer."
     - Arnold Schwarzenegger

It's that kind of thinking that makes Arnold one of a kind.  I contend that the man is driven to a fault.  He's made billions of dollars while inspiring millions if not billions of people around the world.  Has he screwed up in life?  Absolutely.  And he'll be the first one to admit it while not blaming others.  Instead of dwelling on what he can't change, he keeps moving forward like Conan or The Terminator. Even upon first arriving in America, Arnold didn't only spend his time lifting weights and tanning at the beach.  He was taking business classes and starting construction companies while buying up real estate.  He was a millionaire in his 20's so by the time he switched gears to acting, he could be picky with his roles instead of playing bit parts as a brute or truck driver for a paycheck.  What Hollywood agent ever thought a guy with that last name and physique would become the world's highest paid movie star?    Exactly.

It really ticks me off when I hear people pigeonhole Arnold as a steroid user and cast him off.  The drugs were legal when he was using them and besides, he still looks better than 99% of others on the juice.  As a teenager, he went AWOL from the military to compete, that's what we call dedication.  There's lots of in shape guys running around in the world but how many of them have aspired or accomplished as much as The Oak?  Look at any modern bodybuilder today, they all look the same:  grotesque mountains of muscle that probably don't do anything but eat and train.  What kind of life is that?  Anybody who gets into drugs to give themselves a better body is a loser, it's like the woman who gets over sized breast implants then still wonders why men don't want to date her or pay attention to her.  It's a fundamental flaw in their thinking.

In an age of the masses being desensitized but really fucking touchy, I'm glad Arnold can look at his body of work with a sense of humor.  While Stallone is making $15 million an Expendables flick yet charging 800 bucks for an autograph and photo while crowd sourcing for movie budgets; Arnold uses his history and image for good.  Always one to make fun of himself, Arnold exploits his charm and public persona for charity.  Right now you can donate to his After School program for a chance to meet the legend, work out with him and ride around in his tank.  Apparently he's matching user contributions up to $500,000 as well.  What a guy.

Hey Arnold: Thumbs Up

"I have inhaled, exhaled everything."
     - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger, the King of Kings, our Lord of Lords.  Always laughing, always smiling, even when he's insulting you, because you can't get upset at a guy if he's smiling at you.  Back in 2010, while serving as Governor of Cali-Four-Ne-Yah, Arnold sent a note accompanying a veto to an Assemblyman that spelled out FUCK YOU when read like an Acrostic Poem, or basically the first letters in consecutive lines.  The Oak claims it was a wild coincidence but apparently the chances of it happening are about 1 in 10 million.  I'll chalk it up to the charmed life he's already lead.

I wonder if Conan ever asked Arnold back after this:
